Even Olive Oil Soaps (called CASTILE SOAPS), can be made as hard as a store bought soap.
In this Soap Making Cold Process Workshop, you will learn the following:
1. Basic Cold Process Soap Making.
2. Advance Soap Making using various colorants to design your natural soap.
3. How to use POWDER COLOURANTS like,
a. Natural Colorants,
b. Micas,
c. Oxides,
d. Ultramarines
4. How to use LIQUID SOAP Colorants in soap making.
5. How to incorporate CLAYS and use them as natural colorant.
6. You are NOT limited to plain water, learn about: Using HERBAL TEAS, Fresh Fruit Juices, Fresh Aloe Vera (inner Leaf) Juice, Fresh Goat Milk (and other types of milk), Floral Water.
7. How to add exfoliants in soap making like, coffee grounds, oats, poppy seeds et.al.
What are some exfoliants which can be used in CP?
Exfoliants are materials that remove dead skin cells when rubbed on the skin. Exfoliating materials are available is varying degrees of harshness, depending on your requirements. Some examples of exfoliants that are used in CP soap are:
Rolled Oats, Oatmeal, Oat Bran, Oat Flour, or Corn Meal
Apricot, Raspberry, Blueberry Crushed Seeds
Calendula, Lavender, Rose Flower Petals
Peppermint, Tea, Sea Kelp Crushed Leaves
Rolled Oats, Oatmeal, Oat Bran, Oat Flour, or Corn Meal

Calendula, Lavender, Rose Flower Petals

8. Learn to use a SOAP CALCULATOR for your own soap formulating.
9. Receive a whole comprehensive workshop booklet with complete guidance and instructions, additive guides in percentage (%) of a batch.
10. Learn which OILS (base/Carrier Oils) to use for its qualities, lather/bubbly, moisturizing/conditioning, hard bar, creamy and so on.
11. Uses of Essential Oils and/or blend them with fragrance oils to create a lovely accord.
12. Lastly, how to create a skin friendly soap NOT the usual Cold Process Soap with a high pH of 8.5 to 10.5 (Cold process soap is naturally alkaline. It is normal for soap to have a pH between 8 and 10.5. Industrial made soap has an average pH of 10.5, while the pH of quality handmade soap can be as low as 8.5.), the reason why more curing time is required, to make it even milder for the skin.
